Is it just me, or do you also find TikTok weird?

When I looked at it it three years back it didn’t make any sense to me.

Most what you see there are people posting awkward 15 second videos…

There is even a guy who only slices bread on video.
Or a bloke who pops air balloons with strange homemade contraptions.

This image has been completely generated by AI. It’s amazing what it can do now.

As I said… Weird.

If I gave a camera to our dog it would probably do better videos than some TikTok users lol. 😂

(That’s a pretty funny idea, actually.  I think if you ran with it you’d get some massively viral posts for sure lol).

Anyway, my initial confusion aside, I’m actually seeing a lot of potential on TikTok.  More and more people are jumping on board…

… plus it’s way cheaper to get your message out there than on any other platform.

It’s not a platform for teenagers anymore.

22% of users are people of age 20-29, another 40% are people aged 30-49. Whatever business you’re into, you can find customers there.

Today I had a one-on-one meeting with a marketing advisor who works at TikTok Europe and I got interesting tips how to promote business on TikTok.

And I’m sharing them with you below.

Here is how you can use TikTok Ads to get customers cheap:

Step 1:   Create a campaign optimized for reach.

Share content your prospects might find interesting, valuable or engaging.  Run ads with this content to reach as many people as possible

This will grow your followers and establish your authority.

Step 2:  Create a campaign with Sales Objective

These ads are for specific product or service with one goal: to get a sale.

It’s much easier to sell when you have warmed up your prospects with some useful content in step 1.

That’s it!

Sounds simple enough. All you need is to create engaging content and use it to build fan base and awareness… and then drive sales home with product ads.

Of course if you need ideas what to postwe already planned it all out for you…

A few handy TikTok tips to remember:

The optimal budget to start is $20 per day.

Keep the video length between 21-34 seconds.

The first 3 seconds need to grab attention.

Keep your audience size within the optimal range suggested by the system.  If you make it too large the algorithm will have hard time learning who are your best prospects.

Hope you find this helpful.

To your success…

Michal
