“If you had $10k and had to start over, what’s the best asset to invest in?”

Someone asked this in a business group I’m in. There were over a hundred comments on the post, and they were all wrong!

“Crypto,” “Bitcoin,” “Real Estate,” “Business,” “Marketing,” “SAAS,” “Forex”… the people’s comments came pouring in …, and they all missed the point.

So I wrote my comment:

“Myself. The biggest asset I can invest in is my own skillset and mindset.”

The moment I pressed enter, thumbs up on my comment started jumping up as I’ve never seen before.

It’s only logical, right?

Your skills determine what you can do.

Your mind controls what you can achieve.

Many studies show that a person cannot grow beyond what he alone believes is possible for him. If you have a scarcity mindset, you’ll never see the opportunities around you. The same goes for thinking you’re not good enough to achieve your goals. Your limiting beliefs are your biggest enemy, and the sooner you overcome them, the better.

If you take time to work on your mindset, there is no limit on what you can achieve.

As for your skills, the more skilled or versatile you are, the more you can get paid. Whether it’s at your job or in your business, the better your skills, the higher the pay.

Any investment you make in yourself is likely to pay for itself 1000x over.

Sure, you could invest in crypto, real estate, or the stock market. But all those serve only as wealth protection vehicles. They can make you richer, sure, but the return on investment will never be as high as if you invested the same money in yourself. Besides, you actually need to know the assets you’re investing in to make the right decisions. Unless you know a good deal about the markets, it’s no use putting your money there, and you’d have to educate yourself on the matter anyway. Here we come back full circle.

So think about what you want to achieve. Where do you want to be in five years? And start working on getting some skills to help you get there.

The biggest asset you can invest in is your own skillset and mindset.

The future is yours. Go and grab it—one goal at a time.
